Shark Point, 2 dives

Shark Point is one of Phuket's best dive sites. Here you'll find a marine sanctuary of three reefs covered densely in anemones, soft corals, sponges and gorgonian fans. Leopard sharks are often seen resting on the sand. Sea snakes, giant barracudas and trevally are also common, along with an impressive number of moray eels. It is impossible to describe the variety of sea life in a few simple words.

Racha Noi (the small Racha island) is an uninhabited, tropical island south of Racha Yai.

The island has excellent dive sites for experienced divers as well as shallow bays for beginners and snorkellers where you can enjoy beautiful hard corals and see all manner of marine life from vibrant reef fish to beautiful eagle rays.

The diving here reflects the scenery of the Similan Islands. With large granite boulders covered in soft corals and feather stars surrounded by an abundance of colourful reef fish, Racha Noi offers the full spectrum. And then there's the large, gentle pelagic fish like sting rays, manta rays and whale sharks are commonly seen.

Racha Yai (the large Racha Island) is a tropical island almost untouched by civilization. Amongst a healthy selection of hard and soft coral are many feather stars, puffer and lionfish. You can see beautiful hard and soft corals and a magnificent variety of tropical fish at all the dive sites. In the deeper sandy areas you'll discover garden eels and blue spotted rays. Leopard sharks are ocassionally seen here as well. The reefs here are excellent for divers and snorkellers alike.

Please note: even though we go to Racha Yai twice a week, we always vary the dive sites!

This fantastic ship wreck, which sank on the 4th of May 1997, is located close to Anemone Reef. The wreck contains a huge car deck, a middle deck with salons and dining rooms and a sun deck with a very interesting captain's cabin. Lots of small fish such as lion fish, cuttlefish and crabs have already made their home in the wreck. Barracudas and other hunters are also common.

Phi Phi Island is a group of impressive limestone islands. A number of caves can be explored as well as a wealth of underwater life, including lionfish, scorpionfish and a kaleidoscope of hard and soft corals. Two of our four “Super Sunday" dives will be done at these islands. An additional third dive is at Shark Point and the fourth, a night dive, goes to Koh Doc Mai - an impressive coral covered rock between Shark Point and Phuket.

The highlights of our dive sites with the MV Aragon are of course Hin Daeng/Hin Muang. Hin Daeng is covered in soft coral and offers on depths which extend the normal limit an incredible variety of marine life. This is surely an unforgettable dive site for each diver.

Hin Muang, also called the "purple rock" is not far away from Hin Daeng, and shows also a vast variety of soft coral and anemone.... a diving adventure of the finest. Both dive sites are excellent spots for grey reef sharks, manta and whale shark sightings.

We use 12 litre aluminium tanks with international valves. If you have a DIN regulator, you will need an adaptor. We also have plenty of brand new rental equipment at our Phuket dive shop.

At Sea Bees Diving safety comes first. All of our onboard staff are fully trained in First Aid and CPR/oxygen administration in the very unlikely event of an emergency.
